On Friday, January 10, 2025, the Rancho Mesa team gathered at ARLO Restaurant at the Town & Country in San Diego for its annual Kick-Off Meeting and lunch to reflect on the past year, acknowledge achievements, and set goals for 2025.
Employees enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert while Rancho Mesa President Dave Garcia presented a summary of the 2024 year. Garcia acknowledged successful employee milestones, sales achievements and offered insight into the 2025 outlook.
Garcia also gave means for celebration as he elaborated on the construction of our Mission Valley office expansion, occupying the entire floor.
We appreciate our clients and partners who have supported Rancho Mesa the past year. We look forward to continuing creating growth for generations in 2025!

Employees enjoyed a catered lunch and dessert while Rancho Mesa President Dave Garcia, presented a summary of the 2023 year. Garcia commended successful milestones in sales and offered insight into the state of the market.
To celebrate members of the team for their dedication to the company, Garcia revealed personalized Rancho Mesa baseball jerseys for employees who have been with the company for at least 5 years.

By August 2019, interest in cyber liability had grown to the point that CNA was invited to present at the 64th Annual NAWIC National Conference in Atlanta, GA. Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc. held its annual Kick Off Meeting on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Brigantine seafood and oyster bar in La Mesa, CA. President and CEO Dave Garcia spoke about the company’s success in 2019 by reaching impressive goals.
The room was filled with a positive energy, as Dave praised the team for their hard work and dedication while reviewing the team’s 2019 achievements. He addressed one goal after another, as they were all met or exceeded expectations.
Dave expressed his enthusiasm for the 2020 year, as he highlighted some very exciting projects coming to life in the new year. With the opening of the La Mesa office, 2020 should be an exciting year of growth and achievement for Rancho Mesa.
During the kickoff meeting Dave announced Rancho Mesa’s theme for 2020, “Above and Beyond.” This covers two categories: the customer service we provide to our clients and the tangible services we develop to help them identify and manage risk. To ensure the company continues to stay ahead of the pack with the latest technology, sixteen months ago, the decision was made to upgrade the agency’s internal system.

The migration process was a labor of love for members of the implementation team, Kim Vasquez and Lori Stone. Without them, this process would not have gone so smoothly.
The implementation team worked for over a year and a half to ensure the transition went off without a hitch. Their diligence and attention to detail was not only to ensure staff were well-trained and prepared for the new system, but also to ensure that Rancho Mesa clients saw no disruption in service.

On Saturday, August 19, 2017, the 79th Assembly District's 5th Annual Health Fair & Back to School Kickoff, presented by Assemblymember Shirley N. Weber, MD in partnership with Senator Toni Atkins and City Council President Myrtle Cole, was held at the O'Farrell Charter School in San Diego, CA. The event was designed for families and friends to enjoy a fun-filled day with a wide variety of health screenings, educational activities and free give-a-ways.

Family Health Centers of San Diego participated in the event by providing free health screenings to attendees. They also distributed almost 50 backpacks, provided by Rancho Mesa Insurance Services, Inc., to children who attendee the fair.
"We are very excited to be a part of the event," said Katie Gomez, Development & Special Events Manager for Family Health Centers of San Diego. The event included "free health screenings, the YMCA, local law enforcement with the low-rider, and other local non-profits and community orgs."
The Annual Health Fair & Back to School Kickoff offered no-cost screens for dental, vision, blood pressure, cholesterol, and HIV, as well as information on Covered California. Attendees enjoyed free backpacks and school supplies, arts & crafts, face painting, music, healthy food trucks, CPR/AED lessons and so much more!

Of the roughly 38,000 independent insurance agencies in the country, only 241 retained their “Best Practices” agency status in 2017. In California, Rancho Mesa is one of only fourteen agencies to earn the distinction.

Each year, the IIABA publishes its "Best Practices Study" using financial and operational data collected from agencies throughout the United States. Dave Garcia thanked the guests for coming and expressed his gratitude for their partnership with Rancho Mesa. He raffled off a bottle of Paradiso, Don Julio 1942, and Herradura. The winners were very excited to receive their prizes.
As the event came to a close, with just a few swings, Christina Haake broke apart the piñata that was packed with full-size candy.
