Assisted Living Incident Command System (ALICS)

ALICS is a simplified and practical approach for long-term care providers to adopt and be compliant with the Homeland Security’s National Incident Management System directive. ALICS provides a flexible framework for command and control to improve communication between providers and emergency responders; provide a template for incident management; offer a scalable approach based on incident complexity; and outline a management framework to empower long-term care staff to improve incident management response.
