Rancho Mesa Attends 2nd Annual Ickler Electric Volley Pong Olympics

On Thursday, May 23, 2019 Rancho Mesa attended Ickler Electric’s 2nd Annual Volley Pong Olympics. 42 teams and more than 230 people, from all over San Diego County, played in the tournament to support The Seany Foundation and help raise over $52,000 to support children impacted by cancer. Attendees enjoyed food, drinks, music, good company and of course, Volley Pong.

On Thursday, May 23, 2019, Rancho Mesa attended Ickler Electric’s 2nd Annual Volley Pong Olympics. Forty-two teams and more than 230 people, from all over San Diego County, played in the tournament to support The Seany Foundation and Camp Reach for the Sky. Together, they helped raise over $52,000; 100% of the proceeds going directly to support children impacted by cancer. Attendees enjoyed food, drinks, music, good company and of course, Volley Pong.
About the Seany Foundation
The Seany Foundation is a local non-profit that oversees Camp Reach for the Sky, a patient service camp program for kids battling cancer and their siblings. Camp has served the San Diego community since 1983 and continues to be a major resource for kids, sibling and parents battling cancer. In support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a crowd gathered at Ickler Electric's First Annual Volley-Pong Olympics to benefit The Seany Foundation, on September 28, 2017 in Poway, CA.

In support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a crowd gathered at Ickler Electric's First Annual Volley-Pong Olympics to benefit The Seany Foundation, on September 28, 2017 in Poway, CA.
"Our company goal is to help this incredible organization raise funds for families impacted by cancer - specifically children," according to the event's invitation.
Teams from all over San Diego County played in the tournament to support The Seany Foundation's mission. They enjoyed food, drinks, music and of course, Volley-Pong; a mash-up of Ping-Pong, Volleyball, and Basketball.
Rancho Mesa proudly was an event sponsor and participated in the tournament.
About The Seany Foundation
The Seany Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded to carry on the legacy of Sean Lewis Robins and his battle with Ewing sarcoma, a rare childhood cancer that affects soft tissue and bone. The Foundation was Sean’s vision. He first expressed the desire to start a foundation to help advocate for other kids who had cancer in 2005.
